Andrew Carroll, a former Chinle High School standout, pitched for the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks in a 14-6 NCAA Division I baseball loss to the Miami RedHawks at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28.
The matchup was held at Capaha Field and marked the two teams’ third contest of the season. Southeast Missouri State had won their previous meeting 10-2 earlier that same day.
Carroll yielded eight earned runs in 2.2 innings, finishing with four strikeouts and two walks.
The Redhawks are set to play Miami RedHawks again at Capaha Field on Sunday, March 1, at 1 p.m.
