Former Chinle High pitcher Andrew Carroll competes March 14 in Division I matchup

On Saturday, March 14, at 2 p.m., Andrew Carroll, a former standout at Chinle High School, helped the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks secure a 4-2 NCAA Division I baseball victory over the Wright State Raiders.

Nischwitz Stadium hosted the contest, which marked the teams’ second meeting of the season. In their earlier matchup on Friday, March 13, the Redhawks also posted a 4-2 win.

Carroll pitched five innings, issuing two walks and striking out two batters.

The Redhawks will face the Wright State Raiders again on Sunday, March 15, at 1 p.m. at Nischwitz Stadium.
