Eastern Arizona College (EAC) plans to reduce the risk of the COVID-19 crisis and discourages long-distance travel, by modifying its traditional week-long spring break.
This plan will end EAC’s spring semester one week earlier than usual.
“Eastern Arizona College has been fortunate this semester to have minimal numbers of COVID-19 cases on our campuses,” Todd Haynie, Eastern Arizona College president, said in a press release. “The pandemic is still part of our lives and it is important to take all variables into account, including travel back and forth between our campuses and other destinations.”
Eastern Arizona College officials say students can now enroll in EAC spring classes. Eastern Arizona College classes are scheduled to begin on Tuesday, Jan. 19 with social distancing protocols in place.
Students can register by calling EAC’s Records and Registration Office at (928) 428-8270, or by visiting the online registration site at www.eac.edu.
