Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center issued the following announcement on Aug. 20.
We are saddened to announce Crawtoberfest will be cancelled for 2021. Projected surges going into the fall and winter are a concern to all healthcare systems and have already begun to strain our facility with increased hospitalizations. As a result of the recent uptick in COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations, Summit Healthcare has determined that continuing with in-person events does not align with our current messaging and our responsibility as a healthcare organization.
We appreciate your continued support and hope to see you in 2022! Tickets purchased online will be refunded in full.
