Karrin Taylor Robson for Governor issued the following announcement on Feb. 25.
"Weakness invites aggression. Joe Biden's feckless foreign policy - most notably our abandonment of allies amid the bungled Afghanistan withdrawal - has invited challenges from autocrats and dictators worldwide. This includes the tyrant Vladimir Putin, who has now invaded a sovereign country.
"Free nations and freedom-loving people must condemn Putin's actions and ensure he pays a heavy price, or Ukraine may not be the last country to see Russian tanks roll on its streets. I pray for the safety of the Ukrainian people, who have done nothing to deserve this bloodshed.
"Lastly, I thank our U.S. military members and their families - including the Arizona National Guard. These are deeply troubling times, and we are ever-grateful that you stand watch in defense of our nation. God bless America; God bless Arizona."
