Winslow Unified School District issued the following announcement on Mar. 9.
Regular Meeting 6:00 pm Wednesday, March 23, 2022 Pursuant to A.R.S. 38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the members of the Winslow Unified School District No. 1 Governing Board and to the general public that the Governing Board will hold a Regular Meeting, open to the public, on March 23, 2022, in Members of the public may attend in-person at the District Board Room, as space restrictions allow. Members of the Governing Board may attend in-person or by telephone. Doors will be opened 30 minutes prior to the start of the meeting. The Board invites the viewpoints of citizens throughout the District and considers the responsible presentation of these viewpoints vital to the efficient operation of the District.
The Board also recognized its responsibility for the proper governance of the schools and therefore, the need to conduct its business in an orderly and efficient manner. The Board has established procedures to receive input from citizens of the District and those procedures are outlined in the Call to the Public Section of the agenda and will also be available at the meeting. The Board may vote to convene in executive session pursuant to A.R.S. 38-431.03(A)(3) for legal advice with its attomey for any item listed on the agenda. The attorney may participate in-person or by telephone. The agenda will be posted no later than 24 hours prior to the scheduled meeting on the District website www.wusd1.org and at the District Office.
