There were 1,376 students enrolled in Round Valley Unified District schools in 2022-23 school year

There were 1,376 students enrolled in Round Valley Unified District schools in the 2022-23 school year, 1.8% less than the 1,401 in the previous year, according to the Arizona Department of Education.

Out of the total students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 52% of them were boys, and 48% were girls.

Data also showed that most of the students were white, representing 62.3% of the Round Valley Unified District total enrollment.

Round Valley Unified District roughly covers schools within Apache County and has a main office in Springerville.

Among the four schools in Round Valley Unified District, Round Valley Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 494 students in the 2022-23 school year.

WalletHub claimed Arizona’s school system ranked among the worst across U.S. for class size, performance, funding, safety, and instructors’ credentials.

A 2023 study from Scholaroo.com ranked Arizona last out of all U.S. states in terms of educational success, giving the state poor marks for school quality, student success, and teacher-to-student ratio.
