Scottsdale Video Network, a local television network, has released its program guide for the month of January. The network, which telecasts 24/7 on Cox Cable channel 11 and through their live stream, offers a wide range of programs for the community to enjoy.

One of the highlights of the month is the 2023 MLK Celebration. This event serves as a signature event for the entire valley and features nationally renowned speakers who honor the history and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. This year's keynote speaker is Dr. Benjamin Chavis, CEO & President of the National Newspaper Publishers Association.

For nature enthusiasts, the Emmy-winning program "Arizona Wildlife Views" takes viewers on a journey across Arizona to explore its recreational and wildlife opportunities. The show airs on Thursdays and Fridays at various times throughout the day.

The network is also partnering with the city of Scottsdale, HonorHealth, Cigna Healthcare, and Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona to launch the Blue Zones Project. This comprehensive initiative aims to improve community well-being, resilience, and economic vitality. The launch event will be aired on Tuesdays, followed by a presentation of well-being survey data by Professor Jan-Emmanuel De Neve from the Wellbeing Research Centre at the University of Oxford.

History buffs will enjoy programs such as "Building Hoover Dam" and "Operation Glen Canyon," which feature historical footage of the construction of these monumental structures. The network also offers shows like "Legends of Airpower," which profiles 52 men and women who have made America's air power the most respected in the world.

In addition to these programs, Scottsdale Video Network provides educational content such as "Neighborhood College," which equips residents, neighborhood groups, and homeowners associations with the tools needed to become effective neighborhood leaders.

The network also pays tribute to the brave men and women who have served in the military through shows like "Veterans AZ" and the "Veterans Day Commemoration." These programs highlight the stories and accomplishments of veterans in Arizona.

Furthermore, the network has dedicated a memorial to fallen service members from the Scottsdale area. The Scottsdale Memorial for the Fallen features the names of 66 service members engraved on granite faces. The memorial was unveiled at Scottsdale City Hall's Memorial Lawn on March 18.

Scottsdale Video Network offers a variety of programs for the community to enjoy and stay informed. Viewers can tune in to Cox Cable channel 11 or access the live stream to watch their favorite shows.
