Navajo County invites public input on renewable energy plans

Navajo County is reaching out to its community for input on the development of renewable energy projects. The Board of Supervisors has announced a series of Listening Sessions aimed at gathering public opinions on the county's proposed renewable energy ordinance and potential future developments.

These sessions are designed to allow stakeholders to express their views, ensuring that community input is considered in evaluating upcoming renewable energy initiatives. Testimonies from these sessions will be documented and presented to the Board of Supervisors.

The schedule for the Listening Sessions is as follows:

- Show Low: Monday, March 24, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Show Low City Council Chambers, 181 N 9th St, Show Low, AZ.

- Heber-Overgaard: Wednesday, March 26, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Heber-Overgaard Performing Arts Center, 3375 Buckskin Canyon Rd, Heber, AZ.

- Joseph City: Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at BG Bennett Auditorium, 4629 2nd North Ave, Joseph City, AZ.
