Dan Simmons’ love affair with fireworks started from a young age. As a child, he would accompany his grandfather, Pinky Christensen, when Pinky and his friends would make the fireworks from scratch. Dan has officially helped with the fireworks for 45 years. Dan has spearheaded the fundraising efforts and choreographed the Fireworks Show since George McGuire stepped down over 25 years ago.
