Emergency Management received a call this afternoon from Apache County Sheriff's Office

Emergency Management received a call this afternoon from Apache County Sheriff's Office requesting assistance on a missing couple in Vernon near CR 3140 and Forest Service Road 9 (Burrow Mountain Trails).

The couple had entered the area yesterday but were quickly stuck due to bad weather conditions overnight. After hours of searching, the couple and the vehicles were located, and everyone is safe. Thank you to Nelson Davis for showing up and showing support to the responding agencies: ACSO, Apache County Emergency Management, US Forest Service, Vernon Fire, Apache County Engineering and the Apache Rangers- Job well done everyone
