Arizona Rep. David Schweikert has expressed his unwavering support for Israel amidst the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas. In a statement, Schweikert condemned the "unprovoked attacks coordinated by Hamas terrorists against Israel" and emphasized that "the United States must stand on the side of freedom and offer unwavering support for Israel as they fight to defend their homeland."

The conflict between Israel and Hamas escalated over the weekend, with Hamas launching airstrikes on the Gaza Strip. The firing of thousands of rockets towards several parts of Israel, including Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, has resulted in a death toll of over 900 people, with thousands more injured. Among the deceased, there were at least 11 American citizens. Israel has declared war on Hamas in response to the attack.

Hamas is an Islamist militant group and one of the major political parties in the Palestinian territories. It is known for its resistance against Israel and has been designated as a foreign terrorist organization by the United States since 1997. Iran is among the significant supporters of Hamas.

The Biden Administration has faced accusations regarding its alleged role in the attack. Last month, President Biden unfroze access to $6 billion in assets, intended for controlled funds and humanitarian purposes. However, reports suggest that Iran has indicated its intention to spend the funds as it sees fit.

In the midst of the conflict, the Biden Administration has also faced scrutiny for hosting a barbecue event at the White House. The event featured live music and took place shortly after the attack in Israel, which resulted in war breaking out.

The recent attack has also heightened concerns about immigration and national security. Many lawmakers are raising questions about the potential infiltration of terrorists through illegal immigration, especially amidst the ongoing border crisis. Former President Trump has alleged that members of Hamas are entering the country through the open border and plotting attacks on U.S. soil.

The ongoing conflict and its implications have sparked a broader debate about the Biden administration's border control measures and their impact on national security. Critics argue that the administration needs to provide answers regarding the number of radical Islamist terrorists who may have crossed the southern border into the U.S. in recent years.

As the crisis continues, support for Israel remains a significant topic of discussion. Many Americans have expressed solidarity with Israel and have apologized for the alleged funding of Iran by the Biden administration. They assure Israel that efforts are being made to prevent further harm and devastation to the country.
