Diné College recently issued the following announcement.
This year’s Giving Tuesday falls on Tuesday, November 30, 2021!
Giving Tuesday is a global giving movement that has been built by individuals, families, organizations, businesses and communities in countries around the world. Millions of people have come together to support and champion the causes they believe in and the communities in which they live.
By participating in Giving Tuesday, you’re becoming part of a global movement with activity happening in almost every country in the world. Giving Tuesday transcends borders and ideologies, especially when divisiveness is at an all-time high, to bring the entire world together in the spirit of generosity and giving.
Join the movement:
Diné College was established in 1968 as the first tribally controlled institution of higher learning in the United States. Our goal is simple: Help build a better Navajo Nation one student at a time. We are asking for your help in making this happen. The College has been providing Navajo students a college education for the past 53 years. As we enter into our annual fundraising season, we invite you to join us for our WARRIOR DAY OF GIVING fundraising event.
The goal of 2021 Giving Tuesday efforts is to raise funds that will support student scholarships and the expansion of academic programs as needed by the Navajo Nation. Please consider giving to the first tribal college in the United States. Your year-end gift helps us meet the needs of over 1,300 students. We appreciate your support. Ahxé’héé!
