There were 183 students enrolled in Concho Elementary District schools in the 2022-23 school year, 6.4% more than the 172 in the previous year, according to the Arizona Department of Education.

Out of the total students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 53.6% of them were girls, and 46.4% were boys.

Data also showed that most of the students were white, representing 63.9% of the Concho Elementary District total enrollment.

Concho Elementary District roughly covers schools within Apache County and has a main office in Concho.

WalletHub claimed Arizona’s school system ranked among the worst across U.S. for class size, performance, funding, safety, and instructors’ credentials.

A 2023 study from Scholaroo.com ranked Arizona last out of all U.S. states in terms of educational success, giving the state poor marks for school quality, student success, and teacher-to-student ratio.
