There were 2,557 students enrolled in Show Low Unified District schools in 2022-23 school year

There were 2,557 students enrolled in Show Low Unified District schools in the 2022-23 school year, Infinity% more than the zero in the previous year, according to the Arizona Department of Education.

Out of the total students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 53.2% of them were boys, and 46.8% were girls.

Data also showed that most of the students were white, representing 70.5% of the Show Low Unified District total enrollment.

Show Low Unified District roughly covers schools within Navajo County and has a main office in Show Low.

Among the seven schools in Show Low Unified District, Show Low High School recorded the highest enrollment of 877 students in the 2022-23 school year.

A 2023 study from Scholaroo.com ranked Arizona last out of all U.S. states in terms of educational success, giving the state poor marks for school quality, student success, and teacher-to-student ratio.

In 2022 Arizona had roughly one teacher for every 19 students, compared to the national average of one teacher for 16 students. Teachers handling a higher number of students was found to have negative consequences for students’ school performance.
